In today’s NFL, there are a litany of franchises that are well-run, churning out top tier talent through the seven-round NFL Draft and developing those young players into All-Pro caliber players each year. Folks using North Carolina betting promo codes know these teams well.
Then you have teams like the Carolina Panthers. This franchise takes former Heisman Trophy winners and turns them into castoffs. That speaks to the organizational dysfunction that starts with team owner David Tepper, leading to a seven-year playoff drought. During that period, Carolina has not won more than seven games in any season.
So Carolina should have an excellent draft slot again in 2025. They have a win total over/under of 3.5 on bet365 North Carolina Sportsbook, the lowest total in the league. That’s why BetCarolina.com wanted to break down the odds on which NCAA player Carolina could draft with its first-round selection in the 2025 Draft. That should be high in the order, the way things are going.

The NC Sports betting apps in the state have a huge variety of game lines, props and futures bets for the NFL; however, these odds are developed exclusively for BetCarolina.com.
For the 2025 draft, we envision that Carolina will be on the lookout for a new quarterback. The No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Bryce Young, is riding the pine in the Queen City after going 2-16 and throwing more interceptions (13) than touchdowns (11) in his 18-game run as QB1.
That’s why we’re going with a pair of college quarterbacks, Carson Beck of Georgia and Texas’ Quinn Ewers, as our odds-on favorites to hear their names called by the Panthers. We give them odds of +400 (Beck) and +600 (Ewers) for the pair as Carolina’s top pick in 2025. North Carolina sportsbooks will have player props for the 2025 NFL Draft as the three-day event gets closer.
We also like three edge rushers: Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr. (+700), Georgia’s Mykel Williams (+900) and Nic Scourton of Texas A&M (+1100). Colorado star QB Shedeur Sanders is also listed at +1100 in 2025, followed by two longshot quarterbacks, Miller Moss of USC and Cam Ward of Miami, at +1750 apiece.
